This listing is for 12 ounces of early spring unfiltered raw wild mountain honey served up in a glass jar!
Our farm consists of mountainous acres of apple, pear, plum, peach, cherry, prune and and variety of nut trees, salmon berries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, huckleberries, veggie plants, a wide variety of herbs and fireweed patches, with lots of wild space to roam without the risk of running into insecticides, pesticides, and artificial fertilizers. Our honey is unfiltered but run through a colander to remove large pieces of wax, hunks of propolis, and the occasional bee part leaving you with wonderful pollen filled enzyme rich raw honey!
The flavor of honey can differ season to season and hive to hive; some are bold and woodsy and some are light and floral. That’s part of the magic in bee keeping in the mountains! You never know what you are gonna get! This particular honey from the early spring when our fruit trees are in bloom along with many of the native berries and berry varieties planted by us. It is light and citrusy with a minty aftertaste! The early blooming fruit trees and berry blossoms really shine though in this bright and sunny addition to your honey cabinet!
